Health and Availability of Adoptive Children from Guatemala

Both boys and girls are available for adoption. The children range in age from 2 months and older. Most children placed are approximately 5-9 months of age. The adoptive parents select the gender and age group of the child they are interested in adopting and our facilitators present you and us with the referral of a child. You will receive a picture of the child, and a summary of the medical examination.

Overall, children from Guatemala are healthy, but there are known health issues, including premature birth weight, and other affects of malnutrition and lack of prenatal care.
